My last confession\u00a0was __ ago (say roughly how long) and these are my\u00a0sins.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now tell your sins in your own words. You can use these words if you\u00a0wish when you have finished confessing your sins:<\/p>\n<p><strong>I am sorry for all these sins and for the sins that I\u00a0cannot remember.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ACT OF CONTRITION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(You may use one you already know or the following)<\/p>\n<p>O My God I am sorry and beg pardon for all my sins, and detest them\u00a0above all things, because they deserve your dreadful punishment\u00a0because they have crucified my loving Saviour Jesus Christ and most\u00a0of all, because they offended your infinite goodness, and I firmly\u00a0resolve by the help of your grace, never to offend you again and\u00a0carefully avoid the occasion of sin.
